Andrew Trenton is a Denver-based Industrial and Innovation Designer who uses research methodologies to create better solutions. Originally from Kansas City, Andrew is a graduate of Syracuse University’s five-year Industrial and Interaction Design program with a Bachelor’s of Industrial Design B.I.D., and a minor in sociology.
His observing and working experiences have given him the skills needed to create logical designs, with consideration for manufacture and usability. Interested in technically complex products, Andrew enjoys field research, and using insights to better approach existing and new product creation. He has had the opportunity to work and study in Syracuse, London, Kansas City, Fort Wayne, and Tel-Aviv. Outside the studio, Andrew is as passionate about biking as he is about eating and sleeping; if there’s a trail, he’ll be on it.
“I enjoy working on professional, medical and commercial products. They allow me to innovate on a deeper level by connecting with the user to design with intent. My ethos is to develop meaningful products and systems with purpose, to make the complex tangible. Through my past experiences in the industrial environment, I have grown passionate about improving efficiency and safety.”
