Role: I led product development, engineering, and in-house 3D printing production, and worked with our in-house laser cutting department and suppliers to realize this product.
Problem: Our AVERE® 4UV fixture is a staple in theme parks that add that extra touch of magic. The customer wanted the ability to focus light with our fixture. Accommodating this required me to create a clip-on barn door to mask the light, as a full redesign would require UL recertification. I created a tool-less add-on that met the customers’ needs while leveraging our existing fixture.
